What's included

Real-time monitoring

Production parameters tracked instantly on an intuitive, easy-to-navigate interface.

Automatic XML reports

Generated and submitted daily, automatically — regulatory requirements met without manual workload.

ANP compliance by design

Built in full compliance with ANP regulations and aligned with market best practices.

Modbus/TCP and Enron connectivity

Direct communication with flow computers via Modbus/TCP and Modbus Enron — including Omni 3000/6000, Krohne Summit 8800 and Emerson FloBoss S600+ — with dedicated collectors for acquisition accuracy.

XML customization (XSD)

XSD templates per XML type, producing custom layouts to match the operation’s needs.

Customizable closing schedules

Specific submission times for XMLs and reports, with configurable e-mail recipients per unit.

Sensor verification

Sensor and data integrity continuously checked, with errors and inconsistencies surfaced for correction.

Variable monitoring

Automatic daily e-mail report classifying each measurement point: flow within limits, out of limits or zeroed — including flow time per the ANP standard.

Difference and verification reports

Daily comparison between generated XMLs — using the previous day’s last valid XML as reference — with a detailed report by e-mail: deviations appear before they become a regulatory problem.

Unit availability

Real-time view of which units are online and ready for the next scheduled XML submission.

Integrated dashboards

PRTG monitoring dashboards published inside FlowOps — the team tracks the unit without logging into another tool.

History and manual generation

Full submission history per unit and manual generation of XMLs and reports whenever needed.

Full auditing

Detailed logs of every user action, organized by category — including deletions of XML generations, with full traceability.

Security and resilience

Access control integrated with Active Directory, customizable Python scripts and automatic application restart on failure.

How it works

Assessment

Survey of flow computers, protocols, XML types and the metrology team’s requirements.

Deployment

Modbus connection, XSD templates, closing schedules and Active Directory integration.

Operation

Automatic daily submission, sensor verification, difference reports and continuous support — with the platform evolving through versioned releases.

FAQ
Does FlowOps meet ANP requirements?

Yes — built with a rigorous focus on regulatory compliance, generating and submitting XML reports in the required format and schedule, with a full audit trail.

How does FlowOps connect to flow computers?

Via Modbus/TCP and Modbus Enron, with dedicated collectors ensuring reliable, accurate acquisition — plus customizable Python scripts for specific devices and formats.

Can I customize the XML layouts?

Yes — XSD templates can be defined per XML type, producing layouts that match the operation’s and the regulator’s needs.

How do I know if an XML was submitted wrong or diverging?

FlowOps compares the daily generated XMLs and e-mails difference reports; XMLs failing validation trigger a specific alert per date, with the retry history and error reports attached — and sensor verification surfaces collection inconsistencies for correction before closing.

What if a unit is offline at submission time?

Infrastructure availability is tracked in real time: you know before the scheduled time if something prevents the submission — and the disaster-control system automatically restarts the application on failure.

Who controls who can see and edit what?

Access control integrates with Active Directory groups, with detailed edit, view and audit permissions — and every action log is available.

Is FlowOps for the IT team or the metrology team?

Both: metrology gets the closing routine, differences and compliance; IT gets a stable, auditable, AD-integrated platform — with Infraops sustaining both ends.

How long does deployment take?

On average, about 30 days per unit — varying with infrastructure complexity and the flow computer models involved.

How do platform updates work?

Through versioned releases: each publication is formally communicated with its change list, applied in a window aligned with the operation and validated against the unit’s XML generation after the update.

What happens when ANP rules change?

Compliance is centralized: the regulatory change is implemented in a single point and replicated to all units — consistency without local effort.

Does FlowOps integrate with ERP and legacy systems?

Yes — built in Python and integrated with PRTG, with custom interfaces developed by our software factory. It scales from a single unit to entire fleets.
