iProbe / NMA — in-house appliances
Appliances designed by our own operation for remote and onboard sites: iProbe takes monitoring where the network is hard; NMA packs network and security services into a single box.
iProbe — monitoring probe
Local metric collection and experience tests at remote sites, reporting to central monitoring even over unstable links.
NMA — network appliance
Routing, firewall (OPNsense) and network services consolidated for branches and vessels.
Embeddable modules on NMA
The appliance is modular: firewall, monitoring probes, user experience sensor, data collectors — or any application of your operation that needs to run on site.
Remote management
Centralized provisioning and updates — no dependence on local hands.
Hardened by default
Appliances shipped with secure-by-default configuration, operated by the NOC.
Sizing
The site profile defines the appliance and embedded services.
Provisioning
The appliance arrives pre-configured: power + network = operating.
Central operation
Continuous management, updates and monitoring by the NOC.
Why an in-house appliance instead of an off-the-shelf product?
Because it was born from our real pains at remote sites: unstable links, zero local hands, hostile environments. It is mature open-source packaged for that reality.
What if the appliance fails at a remote site?
Swap with a pre-configured unit — the site comes back by plugging a cable, no specialized local technician.
Does it work onboard?
Yes — one of its original scenarios: maritime units with satellite links and short maintenance windows.
What can I embed on the NMA?
Beyond firewall and routing, the NMA hosts monitoring probes, the Experience Sensor, collectors and practically any light application of your operation — one box doing the job of several.
Remote sites with no visibility or standard?
One appliance per site solves both. Talk to us.
